Yes but a progressive DA can utilize their power to choose which laws to heavily enforce and which to lightly enforce. DAs have IMMENSE power in deciding how to utilize the laws on the books.

Heads up, they’re streaming the Wednesday and Thursday debates too.

Laughing at a privileged white girl getting owned from every side is funny.

Nah it’s necessary.

Well, my father couldn’t lift me above his head as a child because of his torture wounds so I do think that hyperbole is important

What are you on about?

“Centrist base”

pimple on the ass of the mosquito that bit a squawking raven

Man consistently polling in top 3 candidates doesn’t have a potential chance at becoming nominee

What because he calls imperialism what it is?

That green military tho

Potential

Or...is it possible she’s just a highly cynical pop start trying on a new look since her last one wasn’t received well?

Look I’m really in no mood to debate 2016 again and we’re on the same page about them being out of touch so let’s just leave that part there. It wasn’t rigged, but the DNC did act with hostility towards Bernie. The Democratic party has since exerted heavier power in the Congressional field, which is a cause for

Implies DNC and Democratic leaders don’t exert substantial control over who becomes candidate, even after almost 4 years of them doing exactly that

Again, as I mentioned: the Warren approach is top down. The Bernie approach is bottom up. These are vastly different. This is why while Warren lays out wonky proposals and plans, Bernie is out marching on picket lines.

I mean I’m registered as a Democrat, vote in Democrat primaries, and voted Democrat for the past 3 elections so...as much as anyone can be a Democrat I am one. Furthermore the things I’m arguing for are the classic arguments of the Democratic party in its heyday (a support for labor, for example).

I don’t want to “burn it down.” I want a mass populism of workers driving change on every level of government, fighting for a better world. That’s a thing millions want, and which Sanders is offering. Yeah, he’s less far left than me, but he’s farthest left of any candidate.
