mspot could be really good but the bitrate is horribly low. songs just sound too crappy when playing on your phone. they also compress your songs to death when you upload them so its doubly crappy.

actually thats a terrible analogy. its more like saying, you buy a PC, but you cant install firefox because it already has internet explorer locked in. and if you do figure out how to install firefox, you will void your warranty on the hard drive.

that's kind of a technicality. if you end your contract early, you always pay an ETF which covers the cost of the phone anyway. so once you sign that contract the phone is basically yours.
