weird, i just downloaded it and tried it out. the definitions are already out of date. it comes with 4488, the newest is 4496.

@Pheermee: no, the tool will not work in safe mode. it needs to be run normally.

@Pheermee: you need to use TDSSkiller from kasperky. then run malwarebytes. the TDSS rootkit is what keeps coming back. If you use the TDSSkiller tool first, then scan with malwarebytes, it will remove the infection. [support.kaspersky.com]
