They put in the time, sweat, and effort...

I would love to see Lebron go full Kobe on Lonzo and just run his ass down every practice, dunking on him at will. When LaVar opens his mouth, just pass him the ball and let him know he’s next.

I read this as “trade him for 15 centers,” and was immediately delighted by that roster. Lebron pounding the air out of the ball at the top of the key with a rotating cast of four centers always standing all pressed together immediately under the basket.

I don’t get it. If he had just come out after the first guy and said something like “I deeply regret not taking these accusations seriously when I was a coach at OSU. I will work my hardest to make sure anyone abused by Dr. Whateverhisnamis gets justice and restitution.” it wouldn’t nearly have been as bad. No one is

Agreed. It reads as juvenile.

They never suffer any consequences, so why wouldn’t they support this guy? He’s going to stay in power, no one will vote him out, and we’ll all move on because that’s how this country works.

His former staffer is a guy who has been exposed as a someone who repeatedly sexually harrassed and assaulted young Republican men, evidently on the grounds that he figured none of his victims would want to take the risk that he would damage their careers.

That and cause it doesn’t matter anymore. Their base is so very much in their corner, brainwashed like members of a cult, that no truth will matter anymore. Thus, loyalty is a hundred times more important than facts/truth/rule of law.

I wonder when the hypnosis wears off.

Yeah, it’s like they know they’re standing directly underneath the next shoe that’s sure to drop but they are just bound and determined to let it land on their dumb fucking heads.

Or get elected POTUS

Trump, no likely future recipient of any Father of the Year Award he, reportedly told Ivana that he didn’t want Junior named after him, exclaiming “You can’t do that! What if he’s a loser?!”

That’s one way to frame it; another would be to say that it is indeed one of the responsibilities of a sports league to promote the league’s long-term success by ensuring a competitive environment.

Don’t worry, as a 29 year old I’ve been taught just how terrible the Glen Davis trade was. My dad would bring it up to make the Albert Belle fiasco seem better by comparison

Any rational Orioles fan has already come to the conclusion that all we are going to get out of Manny long term is constant bar arguments about what was worse; how they handled re-signing Chris Davis or how they handled not trading Manny

It really was not a smart thing to try with nobody out. Even a double play gets him home in that situation. It is certainly possible to make a bad decision and have it work out well. The great slide, exciting play, and good outcome does not necessarily make this a good decision on Baez’s part.

Punxatawney Bron.

Is duplication so bad in 2018? That seems less important than every in today’s NBA.

What does James Dolan think Elon Musk does?

No one sings the blues quite like the white son of a white New York billionaire. We can all relate to the struggle.

Whether it means something or not it’s just so fucking brilliant.
