They can’t demote him, he has too much tenure. There are no good options for him (or Flacco for that matter — another deal everyone knew was bad from the beginning).

That is basically what Jim Palmer said.
Liar.
Like Avon Barksdale said, we are here now. The Davis signing was not a happy day in Baltimore. But we are here now and you just don’t get much for letting the guy go when you know SOMEWHERE in there is a hitter
We make it to 2021. Then in the final days of Trump’s lame duck presidency....
All fair points. But if felt like a blasting.
Not really. Girls are prone to feel rejection even when their logical mind says otherwise.
You know her?
I’m going to defend Trump on this. The preemptive breakup is a good move even if you have already been pretty much dumped. I did this with my high school girlfriend who I’m still friends with to this day and have never told her the truth.
Nick has been a beast this year. But a singles hitting right fielder? I don’t think that was necessarily a mistake.
He is not a great left fielder but he is far from a gold glove first basement. Trey can hit like crazy, even if he is not showing it right now. He is more likely to have a career in left than at first where you really have to have a great bat to last.
Because Trey is fine in left, not hitting that well, and is probably more likely to have a career in left than at first given the quality of hitter you have to be to play first (and that he is not a great first baseman anyway). Chris hit 50 homers once. Presumably, it is in him somewhere. You owe him 100 million. I’d…
Who is a wonderful guy but he is hitting 232 himself and getting reps at a position he is more likely to play in the big leagues. I would not move him out of left.
I’m not even sure we have come up short because I’m not sure he will give us that opportunity. I think Manny is a Miami/LA/NY type guy and I think he wants to go where he can win. This is not like Mussina where the Yankees put up $8 million more.
I think they have to let him play. He is making a fortune and there is no one in the wings and no playoff hopes. The guy has hit 50 home runs. You let him play it out and hope he figures it out.
It is so easy to imagine George and Jerry setting up this sting operation.
As a legal scholar, I fear that might be “or similar dating apps” under his probation.
Are you doing it for your own fun or because you like to make fun of your teammates in your own head?
Your scouting report seems, ah, comprehensive.
Heck, they are 30-1 RIGHT NOW. Those odds already bake in a good bit of LeBron coming back.
