Or, and bear with me for a second . . . she did awful things, pled guilty to those things, and on the advice of her world-class lawyer is now going out of her way to make herself look like a victim—so she she can hopefully wiggle her way out of going to prison for the rest of her natural life.

Lots of people do horrible shit to their own children, so I really hope no one would buy that excuse.

To be clear, I was not disagreeing with you.  But trials carry a lot of risk, and when someone has a good yarn to spin, that risk increases.  The prosecutors could make a run at trial, lose, and then she really doesn’t get what she deserves.  

Would you please tell us more about the recruiting workshop?

I truly hope these women get the emotional support they need. It’s easy to forget that even privileged women and in our sisterhood and we wouldn’t wish this harm on anyone.
