You didn’t see bodily fluids, you saw an infant feeding.
“My God is that a *bomb*?!”
If she was bottle feeding her child prepumped break milk would you give a shit, or is it just the reminder that boobs are for more than whacking off to that is making you squeamish?
It’s not really a “bodily function” so much as it is feeding a child. We’re not talking about waste elimination here. I think we as a society need to be more supportive of the raising of children.
I mean, breathing is also a natural function, as is blinking your eyes. Let’s keep THAT out of political ads......
Heh, for the first few seconds I thought, “this happened again??” and quickly realized it was parodying the bbc dad from a year ago.
I think it made a lot of sense. It’s not her whole list of policies, but campaign ads rarely are anyway. The BPA story is there to showcase the idea that she feels like she can make a difference being an average mother wanting to make policies that are good for families.
My favorite part was the husband busting in at the end to find his sock.
I actually kind of like how casual it was, like it was more like any other male candidate having shots with his family... only more real? (actually, male candidates probably only do spend time with their kids when they’re perfectly manicured and undemanding.) I don’t know how I feel about an ad focused on something so…
That was great. I didn’t realize it was satire until the roast chicken, but well-done, well-done!
Also this guy.
Puritans breastfed all over the damn place. They weren’t nearly as puritanical as we think.
Came here to say just this. Breastfeeding can be difficult to get the hang of, but when you do you often become a nursing ninja. I could feed my kids literally anywhere and no one would ever notice.
Reading this while breastfeeding one of my twins. I don’t wear anything these days that doesn’t give me instant and somewhat discreet access to my boobs, the requirement I have used to choose all clothes in the last year - how fast can I access my boobs? This woman is a rock star!!!!
I see new life for BBC Mom:
It’s not a trick, nursing bras have a snap that’s designed to use with one hand, and as a mother of two, she knows to pick clothes that are easy to nurse in. If you nurse on demand, you do that a billion times a day and can do it in a blink
