Same, I got a fb message from one of my favorite teachers a few years ago. She left me a message telling me how proud of me she is (I ugly cried) and she often comments positive messages on my posts. 

My high school Spanish teacher still posts really sweet and encouraging things on my FB page.  It’s really lovely.
