Buy it.
It was $60.00 when it came out, but I knew somebody who worked in a video game store who sold it to me at a $.25 coupon price, and happened to inherit a copy for 360.
Brilliant game, and I've spent countless thousands of hours on this agme already, but I'd spend whatever it costs to buy this again in to play

$10.00 is the magical number for me. I'll buy it.

Sure, sure, sure.
But for the beginner or the casual player, the continuous pummeling and debilitating attacks and crashes can really turn people off to the game.

I loved the early Mario Kart games, (SNES, N64,) and I still play them with much joy to this day, but this game seriously turned me off to the Kart genre.
I've

Ugh. . .
Oh, man. I played the game every other night or so for three weeks, and had to throw in the towel.
The game is far too punishing, no matter if you're playing local multiplayer with a friend against the CPU, or online in a ranked match.
I shelved the game pretty quickly, as there were too many times I'd flown

Who is that obnoxious, shrieking, squeeky lady in the video?

I realize that the Bravely Default Demo wasn't really a beta build, but it came out before the full release and it allowed a carry over of some items acquired through defeating bosses and constructing a small town as a side quest.

That's really the only instance that I can think of where a beta/demo carried over into

I absolutely agree.
FF XII my favourite of all the Final Fantasy titles, aside from FF IX, which was bloody fantastic as well.
I am eagerly awaiting an HD remake announcement for FF XII, and I really wish they'd make a collection of games to sell as an HD bundle that I'd like to call the "Ivalice collection."

Is there justice in the system, or is it just us in the system?

You're absolutely correct.
My 40" Sony Bravia LCD 120HZ playing the same content right next to my Samsung LED 240HZ just barely stacks up, and can hardly hold a candle to the latter.

I don't even want to attempt putting a 60HZ display up against the two I already have.
I'll never put myself through such agony again, as

Agreed, mate.

I suppose I miscategorized my explanation.
Thank you for pointing that out. It is rather amazing what an increase of double the HZ rate will do to clean up a noticibly slow framerate, and truly quiet some of the chugging that is visible in lesser displays.

I own two separate 40" HDTVs, and I can tell you, refresh rate is indeed important when video gaming.

I play Battlefield 3 and 4 online with my wife, and I can tell you that there is a huge difference in visibility and playability between the display she plays on, (Samsung 40" LED 1080p 240 HZ,) and the display I play

Don't wanna watch. . . Don't wanna watch. . .
Nope, nope. . . Can't make me watch!

Aww, who am I kidding? This is fantastic!

*finds out that Midna True Form Hentai is actually a thing. . .

Spent maybe $20 so far and got six games.

I'm satisfied.

Check groupon, mate.
My wife recently found us a fully-warrantied refurb model for $175, and it arrived in brand new condition with not a single scratch, or speck of dust upon it.

I got one for $175 refurbished by using a Groupon offer which my darling wife found online, and we've since been enjoying the console immensely.

I still find it a shame, the lack of support for GC titles, since it's nearly completely backwards compatible with Wii titles, but that to me just signals that they intend to

And we pay attention to the tweets of some tea-bagging douchebag from IGN why?

Who in the fuck would take seriously the crazed derp-spiracy theories of some imbecilic, unctuous, secessionist tea-bagger who tweets some irrevocably stupid shit on social media, despite his own shit-headed ignorance?

Glad Scott Rhode had

May I suggest Vagrant Story?

Still one of my favourite real-time JRPGs. . .

2014 poster reminds me of the Cyberdelics poster by Masamune Shirow.

RIGHT?!
