Yeah that feeling is... not something I'd wish on anyone.

Agreed that the writing was bad...though I didn't really expect much. The CGI cutscenes at least were fucking beautiful.

Agreed on the commenting system. I've been waiting for awhile to vent about this... its so bad that it's had me reading kotaku about 10% as much as I normally do. Why make highlighted replies the default, and then typically show like 5 replies, all of which may or may not be related. And then if you click all replies,

I dunno...i find a lot of their examples still funny. Like Doges...they will never not be funny, in any context.

See, that's basically the exact opposite of an FPS killstreak. Imagine if in LOL, if you got a pentakill, which then granted you the power to use Karthus' R ability whenever you wanted.

I dunno about the rest of you, but my keyboard controls work well with Spotify. Though I can't radically change what I'm listening to, I can pause, mute, and skip tracks forward/back.

I agree with those who say the retro style overdone, but it looks effectively used here. Not only does the style fit the content, but it also isn't (for me) hard to follow at all... I'm thinking more of Sword and Sworcery, which looks pretty cool in parts, but is so abstracted, that it's tough for me to figure out

I feel you, man. All of the meetups I've been to have been pretty bad...felt completely out of place at them. I did actually meet one friend at one, but he was kind of a dick, and I realized I didn't enjoy hanging out with him that much.

I honestly think it's my favorite Mario Kart game. Granted I haven't played the Wii one though.

Forget all the hooplah about Phil Fish....Fez is a perfect game. Aside from having an absolutely stunning soundtrack, and legitimately beautiful retro visuals, the gameplay is a perfect hybrid of The Legend of Zelda and Myst. For a game that I beat in about 10 hours (including most of the NG+ puzzles), it has stuck

Im just wrapping up a replay of this one, and I have to agree. The soundtrack, the story, the graphics, the gameplay...all perfect. I understand the comments about it feeling repetitive, and I shared similar thoughts my first time through. But playing it again, I can appreciate the diversity of the weapons, and how

As someone who plays Skyrim exclusively in 3rd person, this doesn't bother me. I have little MMO experience though, so I'm skeptical about ESO as a whole. I might give it a shot, but then again, the high entry price is another deterrent.

Riven is a pretty cool game, but I could definitely see being pissed if you bought it for $60 new and got stuck. And yeah, the disc swapping is definitely the most atrocious of pretty make any game of that era.

It took me a long time to realize you were posting about XIII and not XII....that looks like a barely female Vaan. But with that said, XII was a pretty decent game.

I....don't understand how anyone of any age could be fooled into buying that :D

No storyline? You're trying to save the world from being obliterated by an ancient dragon. Dafuq game did you play.

Seeing something, ANYTHING above League of Legends on Twitch has been a very strange and pleasant experience.

It looks like an 80s VCR. This one looks like a slightly upscale model 80s VCR. Not judging, just stating facts.

I think the Calvin pissing decal ruined it for everyone.

I liked the image at first glance, but the more I look at it, the more I can't help picking it apart too. Watterson's drawings are so iconic, that if you don't get all the details right, it just loses a lot of the charm.
