Watching her this morning moved me more than I anticipated it would. It felt like, not only the end of her tenure as FLOTUS, but the end of civility, intellectualism, and empathy in Washington for a long time to come. And when she choked up near the end, I think it’s because she knows it, too.

A national tragedy. In a better world, Michelle would be showing Bill where she hid mini fridges in the WH full of Bud Light.

I’ve never hit someone in anger in my life but looking at that face makes my knuckles itch.

Democrats caved completely on so many of their core ideals in order to gain power and it was sold to us as “well, it’s better than republicans.” Only republicans kept getting worse. I don’t see how you can come away with “no matter who is in charge” they all suck. Democrats CREATED this Ethics office, Republucans just had a secret vote on a holiday night to destroy it. But ok sure, keep on keeping on with your both sides suck theory.
