When I read "Depression lies to you", all I could think of a snippet from comedian Maria Bamford's latest. Most of it revolves around her struggle with bipolar disorder. I hope this doesn't come off as flippant, but it always turns my mood around.

As a teen, I had great skin, if a little oily. Never broke out. When I was 25 I had a few zits here and there. At 27, I went on the pill and had perfect, looked photoshopped, never had to wear face makeup skin. I went off of them because I lost my sex drive...and my face exploded. It's so bad I'm considering going…

The best froyo I had was a soft serve vanilla at a Canadian Ikea. So maybe there was some Canadian/Swedish magic going on there.

I really think there is a taste difference when real sugar is used vs. corn syrup. I live on the opposite side of the country from Mexico so they sell it at a premium here. But so worth it! I wish Coke would do a "Throwback" version like Pepsi did.

Anyone else here have issues with ingesting/metabolizing fake sweeteners? Aspartame gives me near migraine level headaches, and sucralose makes me fuzzy headed for a good 2-3 hours (as in, I wouldn't know how to sign my name if you asked me to).
