Android auto/carplay. Everything in one place and once my music is set I can switch over to Waze and get to where I’m going. I only wish my car had the wireless version but hey at least my phone is always charged.

Very definitely Android Auto (or Apple CarPlay, if you have an iPhone). First had it on my previous Skoda in 2016. It was standard fit on the car, and I didn’t really care about it when I first got it. Was quite happy with just an aux-in or Bluetooth.

Let me get my admission that I’m spoiled out of the way, but adaptive cruise control. Both my truck and my wife’s car have it and I recently ordered a new vehicle and that was the 1 must have option. It takes so much frustration out of highway driving, just set your max speed and let the sensors keep your safe…
Smart Key.
Bud, that sketch is a perfect carbon copy of the first gen Murano, almost exact but cartoony. Also when the first Murano was buzzing around the streets it looked like nothing else out there. Nissan succeeded hugely with that vehicle, basically the template for many CUVs that came after it.
I’m upvoting you, because it seems many Jalopnik editors CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!
So, why aren’t people buying these? Honestly, because people are dummies still smitten with crossovers and SUVs, for some reason. I don’t get it. You wouldn’t really be giving up anything with an Arteon over an SUV you weren’t planning to off-road (and, let’s be honest, most buyers won’t even drive over a curb).
Patriot. It’s dumb but it’ll play well with the riff-raff.
I think the Niro is the right pick here.
I feel like a broken record.
A used Prius V is a good choice and should come in under budget. Wife and I used to do triathlon races and that means transporting two bikes pretty much 2X week at a minimum for training/races. Seats folds flat and the bikes just slide right in along with the rest of our gears.
Check out Teslabjørn’s review. He reviews all EV’s on the Norwegian market at least. Bjørn hasn’t reviewed the Y yet as it’s not available over here but has done a lot of videos on the Mach-E. Despite his nickname I find his reviews to be well balanced.
One thing that really bugs me about my Model 3 is the road noise.…
“what is essentially a sub compact CUV”
Yeah, I had to have a trench dug for the wire for my charger, and it didn’t cost me anywhere near $5k. Maybe $1200 all-in?
Depending on where you live, Catholic schools offer a much higher-quality education than the local public schools, and sometimes much safer too.
Not only that, but that user name is taken and has 27k followers.
Mary Magdalene would have had an OnlyFans.
