Jesus. It's been how many years and we still get Fulmer jokes... I absolutely love it.

Now, look. I'm a fan of players getting paid for the fruits of their labor, but there are a bunch of inaccuracies here.

I know, right. Because, it was really unexpected that a car would blow up with the headline of the article reading, "How to explode a car with your body..."

That's freaking awesome. Thanks for this.

I would give it an A+ if it were in a normal fucking video format instead of a god damned GIF

Watched the entire Bama/A&M game yesterday and didn't even notice.

You mean... like... every successful team... ever?

That would be a great point if TJ Yeldon played on defense.

If they ever played in a relevant BCS game (like... I don't know... the BCS Championship Game), maybe we'd find out.

You said, "He refused and was kicked out of the fraternity...." I would think to be kicked out you'd have to be in. My mistake.

I went to Alabama, the very university referenced. I was independent, and never felt like I was a "nobody" because I wasn't a Greek. There were just as many people like me that buddied up and made fun of the Greeks.

So... help me understand one thing: If all those terrible things happened, why join a fraternity in the first place?

As a personal example: I went to school at Alabama. Graduated in '08. Never had any ambition to join a fraternity, and loved every minute of my experience at the school.

lol. Rage more, plz. "Fucking pathetic." Get riled up, why don't ya?

Nobody denies that star athletes might get a bigger strike zone, etc. It doesn't necessarily make it right, however. So, when an umpire decided to hold someone on the same playing field when it comes to rules, I'm supposed to sit back and say, "Welp,

I don't anymore than PavlikAD knows that this is simply a case of an ump needing "thicker skin."

... you do realize you just did it again... right?

I mean... maybe. But between you and I, neither of us were on the field. I think it's kind of hard to assume that Cabrera was a saint down there.

"Miguel Cabrera has eared the right to use a few choice words."

You completely ignored the commonalities of the analogy and instead focused on the degree of penalty. Just because one part of the analogy is a more extreme circumstance than the other doesn't mean it's not a legitimate analogy. That's the fucking POINT of an analogy.

Well, that's a fair point. I mean, you're right: There's no exact calculus/formula here.

How on earth is that comparing apples to oranges? The argument being made here by you, and by Sean and others, is that because this player is a "star," and people "pay money to see him play," he should play by a different set of rules, or at the very least, be exempt from the ones you designate as "silly." How is that
