I did. My friend had it dubbed on a betamax tape when we were kids, & we watched it a bajillion times. I was surprised as an adult to find that everybody hated it. Then I tried watching it again. Good Christ, kid me would watch anything that was put in front of me, & lap it up.

I think a good current, similar thing is Conan's "Serious Jibber Jabber" that he just does occasionally on the internet, where he talks to people he's personally interested in for an hour.

I recently got addicted to this podcast called, "I don't even own a television" where they talk about bad books. There's obviously some overlap. My favorite eps are the ones on rock memoirs.

I'm reading "Just One Damned Thing After Another" by Jodi Taylor. Yeah, the premise of time travelling historians is a rip off of Connie Willis' Oxford time travel series, but I love this kind of thing. Glad there's a whole series of them, & they're cheap as hell for the kindle editions. I'm also reading "End of Days"…
