Style-wise? I dig it.
Style-wise? I dig it.
For me it’s the non-beveled edges around the mounting bolts. Everything else is curvy on the rotor. Why leave those hard angles?
Anyone else not surprised it was a tC speeding?
I’ve got no interest in the cars of that era. But bikes? Toss up between a BMW R80 and a Moto Guzzi V75. Probably take the Guzzi because I like the styling more.
Welp, there goes the rest of my day.
That Honda 350 looks okay, but that price is a stretch. They’re certainly going up in price but I wouldn’t pay more than $3.5-$4k for it. It’s been well-loved and will likely need some work. Not all original based on the exhaust pipes.
Aside from actually going to a shop or similar to try various fits, is there a reliable way to determine what helmet shape is best for my head? Round/Oval/Long Oval/etc. There’s gotta be a way to do this with measurements.
That’d be a weir(d) way to die.
Good old Lucas. Ignition and coils were the first thing I knew I was changing on mine. I’m always looking to expand my Whitworth collection if you ever dig them up.
That’s a solid deal on the Norton. All matching numbers and an aftermarket front brake setup mean someone actually cares about it. All the other mods are ideal: steering damper, replacement shocks, electronic ignition, single mikuni swap, and a new tank. It’s missing the rear hub cover, but you can get one for not…
What part of the Hudson Valley?
I used to work at that airport. Just some additional info: The Centennial airport is one of the busiest small airports in the country.
Obviously the Acura is higher-end but how does this compare to the CX-9? My wife keeps talking about trading her CX-5 in for the 9. I’m wondering if this would be worth the upgrade charge.
Took a wrong highway split while going camping. Added about 45 miles to our trip and ended up setting up in the dark. Would not recommend.
It’s not in black? Ew, David.
YES! This is what I’ve been waiting for. Something small, simple, and retro. Just need to convince Mrs. Broken-Aero that we need another ride in the stable.
They have, but there wasn’t a used one for sale in my area when I was looking. There was a Triumph though...
I think you’ve really got MG correct. Not the best, not the worst. But damn do they know how to get that emotional reaction. If one had come up before I bought my Bonnie years ago, I would have jumped at the chance.
1952 Vincent Black Lightning by Richard Thompson. It’s got it all: danger, intrigue, love, tragedy, and a bitchin’ bike that’s nearly unobtainable these days.
It’s situational. Going to get groceries? Pull in forward. Parking in a lot with less traffic? Back in. With the proliferation of back up cameras, especially the ones that curve the limit lines when you turn the wheel, it should only take one try. If you can’t back into a spot in one try, go over to an empty parking…
