Vincent had something similar. It’s basically for “City” or “Highway” speeds, to use today’s terminology.

It’ll be interesting to see how the market values this bad boy. I see these as kind of the Ferrari GTO class of motorcycles. Regardless of the economy, there are still people willing to pay for them. That being said, ~$80k for a bike you can’t actually ride around (as opposed to say a Knucklehead or 101 Scout) seems a…
Standard protocol is to measure a seat’s width between armrests. This will be nice but won’t seem any nicer when filling out an airline compliance matrix.
I went to Syracuse University. I can tell you that in living there for 4+ years (UG and Graduate), that the contrast is startling. Outside of Downtown, which is on the west side of 81, I traveled to that area of the city maybe MAYBE 3-5 times in total. And it’s less than a mile from campus!
Now’s the time for buying that car. We just got 60 month/0.9% for a 2019 CX-5. Time to take advantage of the desperation at dealerships.
FAA Delegation is common across the entire Aerospace industry. The delegates are trained on FAA regulations, and represent the FAA for various activities. The fact that there are employees who are delegates isn’t the big issue. The issue is that they didn’t treat this as a major change and push for more reviews.
So many pictures. So many vivid, lovely, lovely pictures.
Transplant from NY to NC and I do think NY is not the best place. In fact, I’d say the Northeast in general is not ideal. I haven’t dug too much into the NC scene here but just the fact that it’s basically the birthplace of NASCAR puts a heavy focus on automotive culture. Lots of guys and gals with projects, plenty of…
Okay I like it. I could see myself riding it. But I will never ever pay that amount for a bike. I want to get an electric bike for my 7 mile commute to work, but there’s just no way to justify that price for what I need.
You did say you wanted David Tracy to branch out from just Jeeps...
When I think Dad Car, I think of what my dad had that was the most memorable. One of these two:
Ah I hadn’t thought of cartoons. Good choice!
What’s your favorite historical show cars-wise? I liked some of what they had on The Crown.
Anyone else excited to see what vehicles will be in the AMC show NOS4A2? 1930's RR Wraith, and hopefully some vintage motorcycles!
Best horn I ever heard or had the pleasure of using was on my dad’s 1996 Buick Roadmaster. It had this similarity to a freight train that just isn’t on cars these days. If my horn wasn’t buried under so much crap in my current car i’d swap it out in no time.
Truck Yeah? Nah man. Truck Meh.
Ugh. Not again. Lucky Jeans was selling some shirts that had a Norton motorcycle on them. The problem? the bike is a Triumph. And a new one at that.
This happened to my sister. Handcuffs and everything. Her situation was through a courtesy vehicle at a dealer. Apparently no one put it in the system that she had it, so they marked it as stolen. Good times.
Not sure if it’s a typo or not, but a pretensioner is not the same as a tensioner. The pretensioner uses an small explosive charge to pull the belt in tighter upon impact. First seen in luxury vehicles. A tensioner is a passive system that’s been around forever that uses internal inertia to simply lock the belt in its…
Sounds like Lucas has a Yugoslavian brother. Lukos?
