kickstarted, so im in tommorow. sounds like it came out as well as i had hoped.

I’m fucking sold.

I’m really digging those character designs. They’re very Toshiyuki Kubooka -ish in feel (character designer for iDOLM@STER, LUNAR series, Giant Robo, etc), and with this being a 2D RPG makes that even better.

Your mom was very generic, bland, and boring, but I didn’t complain

It’s the perfect game. Looks great, can’t wait to play and coming out on the Switch at some vague future point so I can ignore it at the moment in favor of The Backlog.

EXACTLY. I don’t know when the “I don’t need no stinkin’ expert” phenomenon began and I can only hope it’ll reach its zenith soon, but I wish people would even consider the notion that a layperson cannot correctly assess everything. If you are even remotely familiar with diagnostic criteria, let alone discerning it in

“I’m not a doctor or a psychiatrist but I’ve spoken with Natalia and I believe her. If you’re asking me if I think she is 30, that’s ridiculous.

I can safely say that none of my coworkers have ever had a conversation about Jafar’s potential hotness (not at the office, anyway). I clearly need a better job.

As a person that dropped BL2 because I hated the shooting so much, I can say that after taking the plunge on BL3 and spending a little over 6 hours with it, the shooting is much better. Enemies actually react to getting shot and melee’d now, they’re nowhere near as bullet spongy as they were in BL2 and limbs and shit

All I want from this game is more borderlands. Fuck innovation. Not every franchise needs a new gimmick. Give me updated graphics, tighten up the gunplay a bit, improve UI and character movement, and give me new story. They did that. Now they're getting my money.

Am I the only person who find the complaint about a lack of innovation to be completely irrelevant? I mean, how many people who are planning to buy Borderlands 3 want it to be anything other than more Borderlands? I know some people are saying “I was burnt out of Borderlands after the first one, part 2 didn’t tickle

I think that’s the whole idea...really? It’s just borderlands. A lot of games tried to deviate from the core design that made it fun and in the end, it ends up falling flat, just look at what happened to Fallout 4(that’s a personal opinion) but I think this was more for “fans” than anything else. It was not out to

No, I kid. Hiding my guilty pleasure from my current wife was not a wise choice. I only wish I had a girl who approved or even participated in my gaming habits.

lol - that might be a Freudian slip, as it’s been rather turbulent so far. Meant “current” to be notable though, I suppose, because I’ve never dated any women who have been interested in playing video games with me, so it’s a nice first, but shooters seem to be the exception.

My decision to wait and see on this one keeps looking better and better... And I put hundreds of hours into each of the two previous borderlands games.  2k just can't get out of their own way.

Seriously, this thing sounds like it's arriving hot. Might be best to wait for the first volley or updates.

Weird. I guess they don’t want to spoil it for those Borderlands story fans? Wouldn’t want to give away their dick and fart jokes or all of their overused stereotypes ahead of time.

There are so many good games to play these days that something as stupid as this is enough for me to ignore the game until it’s at least half price. I’ll continue playing Monster Hunter and check this out next year.

More likely a veiled allusion to how much reporting Kotaku has done on Randy Pritchford’s bullshit.

I’m personally of two minds on it. I’ve loved the BL franchise since the start, but reading over the reviews that are out there, the overly chatty dialogues, forgettable story and villains, and uninspired quests are kind of dulling my enthusiasm for 3. I’m hoping to see some player reviews shortly in order to get a
