I feel lists like these, read like a list of heavy, unnecessary grievances.

no. it’s just that reviews at the time consistory talked about how flawed it was...if I recall correctly, the combat was simplistic and boring. I think it got hyped up too much, the expectations far too high.

i like his B-movie cheese though.

1 single bad choice at the end results in one of the most painful moments to watch in this game for Kara’s character arc.

thank you for the spoiler warning...

yo, spoilers!!

Heather, you’re blowing this waaaaaaaaaaaay out of proportion.

It’s probably something minor like timed DLC. rdr’s original dlc was boring af, so no big deal. I’m not expecting rdr2’s to be orders of magnitude more fun.

yeah, I was going to say the same thing. the father moves too quickly to be a consistent tutorial for parrying. that’s what the big hulk-like enemies are for since they’re relatively slow.

totally agree. a lot of devs seem to be tone-deaf with that regard.

it’s the same for a lot of tech companies. Work needs to be more distributed geographically instead being constrained near metropolitan hub areas. a bit of a chicken before the egg problem in terms of ever solving that, but I hope that as time moves on, telecommuting will become more of the norm and maybe game devs

as an analogy, I work in the engineering industry. there are tasks that would probably take a day if I just did a paper and pencil solution, but oftentimes, there’s been a push to make things more model-based, and suddenly that 1 day task becomes a few days or even more. So...I’d imagine that making games in earlier
