Dear MB,
Agreed! As someone with chronic food-OCD, this is the only way I do my deviled eggs without having a mental breakdown. I used the whisk attachment on my kitchenaid to break up the yolks, then use the regular paddle to mix in the fixins before adding to ziploc to pipe.
Dear god yes. This.
I mean, if Babbo Natale** was to drive anything on xmas eve it would most likely be this.
The notoriously garbage window regulators are the primary reason I never considered a WJ or KJ. If you drive through a busy parking lot I would guess half of them in the lot will have windows duct-taped to the trim to keep them from dropping into the door.
I was just thinking when I read the TJ’s article that I should write an Aldi one. If I won the lottery my dream job would be an aldi personal shopper, but I digress...
I assumed this was just a staged reenactment of Curb Your Enthusiasm from two weeks ago, but wow....somehow this shit actually happens.
When I was selling Audi’s and MBs we would always battle with customers who thought they were entitled to all these free add ons because they were buying a luxury nameplate (sorry but trading in an underwater off lease sonata for a $25k CPO C300 doesnt mean you are some Maybach Baller).
I make these all the time! I typically do 365 for 14 min in my oven and they turn out great. The Tammies in my HR dept go wild for them.
RIP 2007-2017
It is kinda terrifying when you think about it. But somehow that was part of the appeal for me...owned a 2012 Patriot (zero issues) then went to check out the 17 Renegades and was not terribly impressed (read: italian). Ended up getting a new 17 Patriot. I am a crazy person, I know.
“like the large retractable canvas center-section you might remember seeing on the Jeep Patriot”
Honda Fit is probably the right answer. The good news is you can buy a 2013 Sport 5MT second gen Fit for like 12 or 13k at carmax....which will allow you tac on one of those DeMuro Warranties...which should appease your father (even though its a Fit and you would get more use out of a lawn gnome than buying an extra…
JUST did this yesterday!
