Holy Shit, beetle adventure racing. I think this was one of the LAST good racing games I played. Depresses me to no end that there wasn't a sequel, right up with Rush 2049 and Jet Moto.

It kind of depends on what class or race I'm playing in a game. Anytime I play a caster that wears a dress I feel that the female versions actually look more natural than a dude in robes.

As much as I like the microtransaction system they built into CS:GO, I can't help but feel it's also a way to push content development off to the community so Valve has less work to do. It's ultimately a win-win for Valve, but I feel it's less for the community and more for themselves.

Right, but I still mostly "missed" the good quake years in general. I didn't develop an appreciation for quake until years later.

CS (I played competitively for 2347875) years is probably the most "twitchiest" of shooters, CoD is also in the same vein albeit with no recoil.

So I grew up on this game, I missed the quake bandwagon by a year or two and got ahold of UT GOTYE and spent probably thousands of hours on facing worlds, having to aim 2 inches ahead of people to compensate for my dial up internet.

This is ultimately my problem with the gaming community, and also with "affirmative action" when it comes to creators of art and entertainment changing their product to appeal to a specific demographic.

I'm still incredibly bummed that the ZombiU sequel got canceled.

It's ironic that Zenimax would try and sue Carmack. Carmack opening his technology to the market is the reason that the market is as huge as it is now. The Quake engine led to half-life which ultimately led to Counter-Strike with forced players to adopt steam.

If you're a fan of survival horror at all I think you'll appreciate ZombiU. While it's not as good as it COULD have been, it's definitely an enjoyable enough romp. It's an excellent example of innovation with the WiiU tablet. It just feels...right.

Ultimately Crusaders are actually underpowered. They have lower dps than wizards and don't have the native damage reduction that barbs and monks have.
