I haven’t smoked weed since I was a teenager. Tended to make me anxious. But now I’m reconsidering. What the fuck, America?

The fuck is even the point of this article?
I can’t say I have any prior experience with them (and I am totally ok with that). But yes. Their behavior here falls somewhere on the spectrum between “troll” and “cantankerous douchebag”.
So first you scold us for gawking at the spectacle, going so far as to compare it to staged dogfighting...
The way this is modeled in the code is just the quickest way I could think of to get the system working on that night
Anyone suggesting the “revolution” as a decent reason to back the shitty choice is just an idiot. Open a fucking history book. On the fairly rare occasions that the revolution comes at all, it’s usually pretty horrible, and gets co opted by people as bad, or sometimes worse, than the people it’s replacing.
I didn’t miss the last line at all. Considering the guy spend a great deal of his time droning on about end of the world (coming soon!), it’s not at all unreasonable to guess that “all” meant something beyond him dying. Especially considering that line comes from a completely different gospel, and isn’t found in the…
Can’t speak to the truth of that one either. Though I can’t say it’d have been all that out of character.
And then we have Matthew 5:17-18:
Fucking opsec, how does that work?
I’m aware of the pretty vast number of Christian sects, and their rather divergent beliefs. When I said “inconsistent”, I didn’t mean that different Christians claim to believe/value different things. I meant that the stated beliefs and values of a single individual claiming to be a Christian is rarely, if ever,…
Aside from being incredibly tacky, why the fuck is there a “Christian haunted house” at a public elementary school? They can already act like fuckwads all they like in their churches. In fact, a whole ton do.
Never really got that line of thinking. If you’re certain that you’re going to heaven, either because of it’s predestined, or Grace, or whatever, and nothing will change that...why wouldn’t you kill yourself? I mean, life isn’t all that bad for me. But it’s also a far cry from the utopia they try to sell heaven as.
They certainly are. Most Christians I have spoken insist that those rules no longer apply, because Jesus. Though Jesus actually said the opposite. Paul (who never even met Jesus) was the guy who said those rules are no longer a big deal, because he was trying to make the religion appeal to the Romans and Greeks. …
I mean...the pope is evil. Covering up kiddie rape kind of makes one evil. Nothing theological about that though. And I can’t say I’ve found Catholics to be any more or less evil than anyone else. Though I really don’t get why some people call themselves Catholic if they completely ignore the Church’s dogma on…
I just love when they start going on about the “Burning Times”. Don’t get me wrong, the witch hunts and inquisition in Europe were fucking awful, if a very interesting subject to study.
They don’t seem to understand that Satanism (the theistic kind, which is virtually non-existent, not the LeVeyans or the trolls) is an abrahamic faith. You cannot get to theistic Satanism without Yahweh and the Bible.
It’s kind of dippy. But there’s nothing especially bad about any of it, especially compared to a number of other, more powerful religions around the world.
1) Well that’s completely bizarre and kooky.
I don’t agree with the death penalty as public policy. Not because some people don’t deserve to die, but because the risks of wrongful execution, as well the expense of necessary appeals vastly outweigh any possible “benefit” it might have to society.
