I'm a believer of putting the cover down nowadays. My husband brought that habit into our marriage. Took a while to get used to. Anyone ever sit on the toilet to "go" with the cover down? I did! Started peeing before I felt the cold cover. It was messy. I had to clean the bathroom and shower in the middle of the night.
