As an owner of pets I ensure the lid is down after each sitting. It looks much better and is cleaners as when you flush there's no splash.

I'm a believer of putting the cover down nowadays. My husband brought that habit into our marriage. Took a while to get used to. Anyone ever sit on the toilet to "go" with the cover down? I did! Started peeing before I felt the cold cover. It was messy. I had to clean the bathroom and shower in the middle of the night.

This is the rule in my house simply because it keeps the cats from causing trouble. (One of them knows how to use the toilet like a person but not how to flush it being the primary issue)

I am legit horrified that your comment has only just made me realise that people don't do this. WHAT. Why would you leave your toilet seat up and spray everything with poo mist?!

I've never understood why that isn't thought of as the way to leave it. Even if the only advantage is the aesthetic, it's still way worth it.

Totally. It also stops the toilet water agitation from spraying the inside of your bathroom with filth-mist.

I don't understand why this isn't just common knowledge. It should be everyone's responsibility. You also don't have to worry about dropping anything in the toilet and it helps reduce the amount of germs that fly out of it when you flush. C'mon, people.

Some, but not most. A lot of Christian fundamentalists are so supportive of medical intervention that they think every single option should be exhausted before a person dies. They're opposed to die with dignity laws.

It's murder at any stage isn't a rousing pro choice anthem buddy. Nor is it even true.

Ugh - Log Cabins are the worst. I never realized how many I knew until that video of the kid getting beaten and kicked out by his conservative family surfaced.

Fuck off. I don't owe you shit when your entire "perspective" is that women aren't human and need to have their sluttiness managed by men.

Quit crying and get to work! When I was your age, we walked 50 miles to school, had a paper route, and were milking cows at 4am!

I grew up Catholic. When I was preparing for Confirmation I did volunteer service with the vacation bible school in the five year olds room. They were teaching kids about abortion. Even at that point in time (about 14) I knew that was wrong. It literally made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Later about

  • Do you get the fact that exactly 18 years after abortion was legalized the crime rate dropped significantly. Fewer unwanted children = lower crime rates. If you are a man you really need to get over it. It is an issue that you will never have to face. It is a personal issue between the woman and her medical provider.

We've been dealing with these people in Albuquerque for a little over a year now. Bud and Tara Shaver were sent here from Kansas by Operation Rescue after George Tiller's clinic shut down. They are terrible bullies. Last year, they tried to pass a city wide 20 week abortion ban (luckily, it didn't pass). They

Let's think of the hypothetical children while not thinking of the actual ones at all.

Our concern is that the statute makes it very easy for people to shoot or stab first and to then exaggerate their fear or the real danger

America, fuck yeah! Where you're allowed to own a weapon designed solely to kill people, carry it on your person, and police are legally restricted from searching you even at a venue where terrorists have declared that they will use said weapons to kill lots of people. But where you aren't allowed to be a woman with

Sigh. I'm so tired of this, you guys. I don't care if you disagree with Sarkeesian, I don't care if you believe gaming should be immune to feminist analysis, I don't care if you personally think Sarkeesian is a bitch, but for the love of baby jesus christ, can we stop threatening to kill her just because of a
