True dat. Once in the late ‘70s, though, I saw an unmarked Constellation (!!!!) flying about 10 feet off the water along the coast of Big Sur, California, its right wingtip barely grazing the cliffs. Astonishing sight from the Bixby Bridge. Incredible flying. Never heard about a bust in the papers, so I guess the…
