Wait, I understand that your home WiFi wouldn't be affected but how could it not affect bandwidth? There is one line that comes into your router and if you live in a busy area, who's to say that dozens of people connecting couldn't saturate the line?

In basic training, we used to 'melt' shoe polish by lighting it for a few seconds before applying to the shoe. This helps it bond better and/or seep into the tiny cracks and crevices of the shoes. Some would apply the polish then light it up but I preferred the previous method. Then let the spit shining begin,

I see your Epson and raise you an Okidata Microline 320

It's worth noting that while BitLocker is available for Windows Vista/7/8, it's not available on all versions. You must be running Ultimate or Enterprise. All other versions leave you S.O.L.

I love Adblock Plus regardless of how it drags my older laptop down. There are certain pages I open and I watch the icon jump to 50+ ads blocked. That's probably more ad than page.

Good to know, thanks.

Speaking of cord cutting; if I cut cable and connect the Mohu Leaf in line where my cable used to come in, will all of my TVs be able to pull in broadcast from it?

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet! How can one own a smartphone and not have a wireless, hands-free headset? These two go together like peanut butter and jelly. Search, SMS, make phone calls, launch apps, etc without even touching your phone. This is the perfect, most useful accessory for any phone.

Intuit also runs the personal finance tools seen on many bank and credit union web sites. It's exactly the same thing as Mint, just located in your personal online banking and already tied to your accounts.

Check with your local credit union. Sunmark in my local area has secure bins at each of their branches where you can drop off documents to be shredded free of charge.

Awesome! Thank you!

Good luck with that these days. I discovered (on at least HP laptops anyway) that the activation key is encoded on the BIOS chip and not on a sticker, so the only way to re-install the OS is with the bloat-ware loaded HP recovery disks.

I have a Vizio TV and it has a Amazon Instant app. It would be foolish to think they would publish one for the Chromecast. It will only make them more money.
