Backyardigans and Wonder Pets are on the list of shows to watch (and not on the list of shows to avoid at all costs, which is where they should be), but Yo Gabba Gabba is nowhere to be found? What kind of monster wrote this article? It's a trick, people!

This might be my all-time favorite Simpsons episode.

I think there'd be much more than annoyance. It'd would be essentially a different show, even if the quality was equal. I want to watch the story of Tyrion, Jaime, Stannis, etc. now, not wait out a season or two digression about Dunk and Egg or whoever. I might stay and watch the Dunk and Egg stuff, but I doubt

I for one cannot wait until we see the Fat Pink Mast! That, along with the Myrish Swamp, are the two most memorable parts of AFFC.

They need to make him memorable or remarkable in some way. I hate Daario when I read about him in the books, but at least I knew who he was. I don't know if I'd really remember him if I were a show only person. He's basically on the same level of remarkability as Jory Cassel was in season 1- a background actor

I've seen this suggested (along with the only slightly less unreasonable idea of a Robert's Rebellion based intermission season or two) several times, but it just doesn't make sense.

I wish that the original Daario would have stayed with GOT. He captured the pure outlandish douchebag essence of book Daario much better than the second Daario. The second Daario is too subtle and somewhat generic.

Good way to sum up the Ironborn. I can understand why the Euron-Victarion story was cut out of the show- it just adds too much additional narrative for the show (and likley GRRM) to address in a satisfactory manner.

Go, rewatch season 1, then watch seasons 2-4, then start with episode 1 of this season. To the extent that there are book spoilers this season, they probably won't be until the latter part of season 5. Depending on your schedule, you could probably catch up with the series before season 5 hits the book spoilers.

There's something to that, but I didn't really like the Ironborn because of the magical aspects per se. I liked the mystery surrounding Euron, and some of the stuff with the Red Priest and Victarion was interesting, but I wouldn't say that it was the magical aspects that made me like the Ironborn.

I agree. I didn't really care much about the Red Viper in the books. Pascal was incredible.

But Griff and Young Griff, that's a terrible chunk of story.

That just means that the show is going to resurrect Ros to rule over the 7 kingdoms. I miss Esme Bianco.

She also undermined the impact of the Red Wedding, wasted the 3 book set up of Beric Dondarrion and the BwB, and started to trend in the books that no one really, actually dies. So there's that…

Possible spoliers

I much preferred the Ironborn to the Dornish when reading the books. I loathed Darkstar, couldn't stand the boring Areo Hotah, and, by the end of Feast, was skimming the Arianne chapters. I almost missed the big reveal of the Quentyn trip in Feast because I was barely reading those chapters by that point.

I want to upvote this a million times.

Nice. Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Bach and Mozart are garbage compared to Flo Rida.

I agree, it's fun to pick on poor white rural people.
