Why is hating rap any better or worse than hating country? Are you o.k. with someone who *shudders violently* in response to rap?

What is appropriation? If a white person doesn't like rap and rap culture, he's racist. If a white person likes rap and rap culture, he's appropriating it. Is there a middle ground, or is appropriation just a buzzword, a cultural signifier showing that you're the "right" kind of white person?
Because you saw some douchebag white guy wearing a dashiki? I generally have problems controlling my urge to punch white guys who have dreds, but that doesn't make me angry at white guys who don't have dreds.
Who Got Dee Pregnant should also be in consideration, as well as The Gang gets Analyzed…
The episode lost some steam in the last 5 minutes or so, but I enjoyed it overall. The characterization was spot on, and it had some good lines. I know I'm in the minority, but I liked this episode better than I liked last week's episode (which I thought had some problems with characterization, especially Charlie…
I'd pick: Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare; The Gang Buys a Boat; and maybe the DENNIS System.
Frank was the one who started the paint idea. Unusually resourceful Charlie took advantage of Frank's lunacy.
His idiot savant status is displayed infrequently enough compared to his incompetence that it seems to be more of a plot device than a believable aspect of his personality. Charlie is just as smart and competent as the plot for that episode needs him to be. It wouldn't stand out so much if it weren't for the…
Right, but he's usually depicted doing the Charlie work in a weird, incompetent way (like bashing rats with a baseball bat). There's wasn't much Charlie weirdness in this episode. Plus, his instantly deducing the gang's goals with their steak / chicken / flier miles scheme, along with his subtle pranking of Dee,…
Interesting take, but I didn't see a hint of unreliable narrator in the episode. If it would have ended with an "objective" take showing the bar as a disaster and failing the health inspection- showing that Charlie was being delusional again a la "Flowers for Charlie", then yes. But I think that it is really a case…
The episode was technically impressive, but I didn't find it that funny. Charlie was too competent, the rest of the gang was too stupid- the whole thing felt out of character. It was as if "Flowers for Charlie" Charlie was in the show, except he was actually smart and not just delusional.
He also has (had?) the MAC system- Move on After Completion- when Mac would pick up women fresh from the DENNIS system. He's always liked his beefcake (like Rex), but the barely restrained homosexual Mac of late seems like somewhat of a retcon.
Speaking from a year later, I don't see how you can rate season 9 so low. Gun Fever and Lethal Weapon were weak. The others were quality. The Gang Squashes their Beef was great.
I just re-watched the episode and thought it was better a second time through. Knowing where the Frank subplot was going made it seem to drag less.
I think that Cricket based episodes are generally weaker than average. IMO, Manhunt was one of the worst episodes in the series. Cricket works better in small doses, like in the reunion episode.
Best line in the episode, followed by the Dee-Dennis diagnosis dialogue.
This episode had a few good moments, but overall it was nowhere near as good as the first two episodes of this season.
We just need to petition Latvia to rename Riga to Doomstadt.
I was thinking D.J. Qualls
I don't remember that- I'll need to rewatch that episode.
