No you wouldn’t have
No you wouldn’t have
While I’m glad that schools have cracked down on bullying since my days, but I feel like half these TikTok kids wouldn’t try these antics if they had gotten their asses kicked in school. Makes you really understand risk/reward when you understand that “socked in the mouth” is a possible outcome.
They can just hire Chris Pratt.
Exactly. I don’t care about the developer’s feelings. If they don’t make a quality game I’m not going to buy it.
I kind of ascribe to this point. “Sure, it’s a shitty game, but I am just a developer” seems understandable, but at the same time a bit of a cop-out. Change can come from the outside (I wish people would vote with their wallets), but also from the inside. Just phoning in a bad vampire game, pocketing the cheque and…
Its about quality. No one expects every game to be as complex or large or detailed as this. But what everyone should expect is for developers to give a damn and make sure whatever they are making is something they can be proud of.
I get this argument, I really do, but it gives short-shrift to the simple fact that $70 is no small amount to the average person, who maybe doesn’t want to feel the phantom hand of a publisher reaching into their pocket for more money every ten minutes.
Counterpoint. I don’t care what kind of problems the developers are having. Not my problem. Don’t market your game deceptively. I just want to buy a working game that’s design isn’t based on pushing additional purchases for a product I already own.
It’s a single player rpg. It’s normal.
The more interesting question is why there haven’t been any DLC announcements yet. I would really like to see this game expanded.
It’s a single player RPG, and like the headline says it’s been 6 months after release with several high profile games that have launched in the interim and soaked up the limelight.
If you think nude mods are significant enough to require serious introspection, you must live a blessedly simple existence
is this a paid advert? It misses the actual mark by miles. so completely misleading compared to the actual exp and end game grind nerfs.
This is the exact opposite take from what I’ve read every single player complaining about. It seems this patch is actually designed to DRASTICALLY slow down the game. If you slow down the game, then you are increasing the grind.
The Outer Worlds is very strange to me.
Thw worldbuilding was fantastic, unfortunately it’s the first part of that headline that was the issue for a lot of people (myself included). It just didn’t have the depth I wanted from an Obsidian game, certainly not after all the hype about how this was basically an unofficial New Vegas 2.
Artists “steal” from each other constantly. The most obvious example is sampling. If what upsets you is that the benefits of that “theft” don’t accrue to a worker and instead to an owner, welcome to capitalism.
Some guy who clicks his mouse 12 times in Adobe thinks generative AI is a dangrous technology sucking the soul out of human art.
I would like to point out that Anakin was never granted the rank of Master.
And yet so many op-eds and bylines dedicated to it despite a choice not to cover it, it’s like the continual Musk bashing, just because its “op-ed” doesn’t make it any more redundant or boring. If you want to take the air out of something then you don’t talk about it, you don’t spend time talking about not talking…
No, no they do not need to leave it behind. It is and always has been perfectly acceptable to consume content you like, even if you dislike the person or politics behind the content. It’s called freedom of choice. The constant need to tear down someone because of their political beliefs is your generations biggest…
