That's want a suggestion it was a comment that the same result can come from any old rock. After all the windows are made of glass and that there is no full proof consumer grade security to prevent any instance of a break in of that precious Prius.

Not my point. My point is that a free to own rock could accomplish the same result. Where is this “bloggers” shock and awe at the security gaps?
That’s not my point. My point is that there is no guarantee of security with keyless or manual locks. After all the cars have windows made of glass and therefore are easy to break in to. This is just one rudimentary method that I described that would have cost $0.
But they weren't. They dork who owned the Prius watched them from his kitchen window. Probably while he was making some hipster salad.
I think the more practical advise is to not be the douche that buys a Prius.
Nope sorry. This is still ugly. Why would you want something that isn't half bad? I want all good! I guess I'm not a GM guy because this car is boring and I wouldn't consider it, ever. But if you are, cool. To each their own, but don't expect this car to appreciate.
Where's the jump? Both axles did not leave the ground, therefore not a jump. More like a wheelie.
Of course I know this. Let me be precise. The Fiat 500 is hideous. The Abarth gets some love around these parts for God only knows why. It too is hideous. Why anyone would be excited about a Fiat 500 is incomprehensible to me.
However owning any Fiat reduces all factors of cool!
I’ll give you that the G8 is slightly less boring. Like Kenny G. or Wings they are both painfully boring but have their old ass fans. However the G8 is what 6 years old now. GM is taking a step backwards design wise to an already boring car.
I don't blame him. The new automatics are pretty sweet especially with the paddle shifters. I really like mine in my 2012 Challenger RT Classic with the Super Track Pack. Easy to cruise and just as fast to shift.
And exactly 0 fucks were given. Seriously why is this on Jalopnik?
It sounds great inside because they pipe in fake engine sounds. That's pretty lame in my book.
Your grandpa wants one! That sir, is the target market for this car. +1 for VW marketing to their target market. I have no interest in VW. I much prefer a domestic hatch like the Ford ST.
Caution! You yawned at that slee....... Yawn. ......... Sleeper.
Just like the G8 and GTO. Boring cars with cheap exterior and interiors. Like the designers phoned it in. Sure, they performed and the owners say that they could be considered a sleeper, but to me, a car has to perform and look the part. I think the “sleeper” term is a way to justify a boring car.
You are obviously being sarcastic. Function before form on a $40k car where there are plenty of other better looking cars with similar performance. Oh well to each their own I guess. To me the car has to perform AND look good.
Must have been a “sponsored post” for that nomination.
My point exactly. No one is buying the SS as it looks like a rental fleet car. It will depreciate.
Exactly. But Jalopnik is wrong about the SS. There's no demand for it now and there will be no interest in it in 10 years. It already looks like a rental car in 10 years it will look worse than the Olds Alero.
