I love that he gave zero fucks, whipped out his phone and proceeded. LOL Something tells me shit like this won’t happen again. These folks (corporations) think they can control what talent says? buahahaha

It’s a distinction without a difference. I get Apple not wanting an event centered around a recent high-profile release to become a DeNiro political diatribe, but whether they cut lines from his speech or “replaced” it with an earlier draft (that they probably wrote) the outcome was the same - DeNiro onstage with…
So fun. And here I thought us costal elites were the smug ones? Jesus Christ. Why is it “obvious” people do not care about America? Because you say so?
Sir, this is Arby’s.
Wait, so the academics counted the lies, meaning the lies happened. And your focus is the guy who’s not president.
Heh. Bohner.
I think this show would be a tough binge. An episode a week is about all I can handle. That said, it is really good.
Here’s one: it’s good.
You could always try actually watching an episode.
This is very much filling the White Lotus S1-shaped hole in my heart
Dougie really is an enigma. Half the time he gives the vibe of the ‘talent’ who could not care less about the players in his project, reminiscent of the writer’s room on The Comeback, who had such a low-key seething hatred for Valerie being shoehorned into their vehicle. Like he’s blithe and noncommital because he’s…
Yeah she does a lot
I really wanted to like season 4. It had a solid premise, it had Jessie Buckley as a crazed nurse serial killer based on a woman I’ve studied, Jane Toppan. East and West was a brilliant little episode in general. But it just didn’t come together and was too big and over stretched.
Definitly has Antons god awful haircut.
The scene when Dot dropped the “Aw, Jeez” accent with her MIL is when I really got excited.
I like Maron’s view on these jokes, especially Rife's apology with the special needs helmet - it’s so fucking hack. We’re kind of doing a disservice to the shittiness of the jokes by talking about whether or not they’re “offensive.” They’re just examples of middle of the road hack comedy. That should be the story, and…
I’m pretty sure Tim is dying of AIDS in the 80s.
The only real vampires are the covert and malignant narcissists among us (Trump, for example) and they come in all shapes and sizes (and, in his case, colors).
Does Lydia Tár make an appearance
A “never better” Carey Mulligan would be a very, very good, as she’s been amazing in most everything (she was robbed for A Promising Young Woman, and I’m happy to die on that hill) I’ve seen her in.
