There is NO way Winfrey didn’t have control over who was on that stage. That’s a lie on the face of it.

Now, if only Showtime could learn this lesson...
JFC, you are a walking open nerve. Providing clarity isn’t being a ‘rube’.
Always more expensive, except when AD has some special catalog showing.
From AMC’s website. This means lower prices for the front row(s), but one must join their club at the free level at least:
In the LA area, the Arclight model was that the front row of seats was never closer than the screen was high. It worked very well -- although, that meant fewer seats/rows overall, so the price of each seat was higher. But, it was worth the experience and wasn’t a huge burden.
I basically go once a week to movies for years and that’s never happened once with assigned seats.
Man, THAT would be awesome!
I really appreciate the Bernstein family having a sense of humor about it and playing along.
Man, do I wish the VX houses would get together and understand that low-ball bidding to get the project hurts them ALL. They need to hold their minimum bids to a floor and not go below — but without colluding to do that (illegal) it’s hard to get them to arrive at the same number organically.
I agree. “Neo” makes it sound like somehow they have found a way to be disgusting pricks with some ‘new’ information or a new take on anti-semitism/racism/misogyny/nativism. But, nope, just the same old ignorant, regressive, dumb BULLSHIT!
Yes, there really is no way to ‘complicate’ the story by making them gay and then act like there is NOTHING to that. It seemed to fall into the ‘Kill your Gays’ trope, no matter what. I was really ANGRY in the moment we see the flashback of them being bashed in that bar...and then asked to sacrifice for humanity. When…
Oh man, what they could have done with it!! *Drools on keyboard*
I have to beg to differ. The last part where lightening starts hitting all over is pretty apocalyptic. I don’t know how THAT is explained away, much less ALL the planes falling at once - though there is almost always a way to explain away mechanics/tech. But, imo, the suddenly blackening skies WORLD WIDE and the…
Same.
I had exactly the same response to the article. I bugged out halfway through the summarization of the plot because I could see he wasn’t gonna stop. And, while I respect any critic who does try to keep ‘cameos’ under wraps, it just reveals he just hasn’t been paying attention to the marketing campaign.
How profitable this will be depends a lot on how much MORE they charge for the middle ‘premium’ seats, and how much less for the crappy front row seats. Some people may not really even notice if its $2 more for Premium. Nor will people run to the front rows to save $2. It will have to be more like $5 off, is my guess.
I have it too. But the part I don’t like about this is it will create a bigger demand for the ‘standard’ seats along the edge and the back (I’m assuming based on reports). Those are the seats I like and now I’ll have to be packed in shoulder to shoulder while the middle has empty seats because people will avoid the…
EXACTLY! Go back to focusing on the MOVIES and pare down the stilted banter, dance interludes (leave that for the Tonys), musical performances (medleys are fine but leave the music for the Grammys) and long opening monologue. What happened to showing the clips of the nominated films and performances?!
There was some really shoddy camera work again this episode. What is going on over there with the tech crew?!
