I can dig it. I also like the screen crawl of names they can use instead of listing them verbally, too. They need to be disciplined enough to NOT repeat the names once they get up there, though.

I actually blame Will Arnett for this. He should have dragged Jimmy away from the mic as the winner came up. If you’re gonna commit, COMMIT to the bit! Once she was done, or even as she was walking up, drag him ALL the way off stage. But to leave him there was just sloppy. We’re I she, I would have grabbed one leg and

Playing people off the stage like that better be backed up by some crack bit writing and elegant presentations. Which, there wasn’t. I’m all for letting people go on when they get the award if it means less BS banter that almost never works and fewer dance numbers.

They have one more shot next year, as this year was for the previous season. I hope they do the right thing and give him AND Rhea an award!

Oprah’s stat about chances of winning was so ridiculous, all we could do was howl and laugh! That figure she spouted only made sense if EVERY PERSON on the planet was eligible for the award. HAHAHA!

I felt like Madisynn was a spin on the character that Cecily Strong has honed on SNL, ‘The Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started A Conversation With’. Very funny in BOTH cases!

We can certainly agree to disagree. I’m certainly not going to say that he’s ‘ugly’!

Abosolutely. Bernthal is a pretty decent actor, but sexy ain’t his bag, baby.

Just confirmed: Charles III

One of the better-written reviews on the site, tbh. Definitely makes me want to see a movie that I hadn’t even considered.

Absolutely!! This apartheid-loving POS needs to stay in his goddamn battery lane.

Unfortunately, she’ll get a second bite at that apple since it was only to complete the current session. They are running ANOTHER campaign for the next session and she’s on the ballot again. Yuck

I also liked how the backgrounds in each successive interview got grubbier and grubbier and worse and worse lighting.

My bf and I were surmising they stood for the creators as well, although we didn’t know Goodman. We assumed the ‘/H’ was referring to ‘Hulk’(?)

I think we see the landline and answering machine because this show has one foot in the 80s. From the Miami Vice pastel colors of the show logo, to hiring actors like Linn-Baker, who definitely have the 80s feels all over thanks to his starring in ‘Perfect Strangers’.

Did anyone other than me ever bother to watch the re-edit that they put on the DVD? They demonstrated where, by using the same scenes in different order, the entire story changes the context of the character in the story. It was fascinating and I loved that they shared that with us.

I loved the mini-callback to Chuck when Jimmy mentions him in court we get a shot of the ‘EXIT’ sign in the foreground, humming with all that juice that so terrified Chuck. Subtle and beautiful.

The moment they shared that cigarette felt like a great noir ending to me. Except the ‘villains’ didn’t die for their sins.

It was cruel. Just like it was cruel for Kim to tell that one ‘last’ lie to Howard’s widow, when she didn’t need to do it. But, Kim knew it was the wrong thing to do and threw herself on the mercy of the widow eventually.

Now playing

I think Brando should have been there and should have brought her up with him standing next to her. And, I would give good money to have seen Marion “John Wayne’ Morrison get his ass lit up by Marlon had he attempted to take her off stage.
