I thought he low key quit two seasons ago, but then he’d show up again for two episodes and be gone for another two.

Until today I was thinking this was already the last season. It’s definitely time.

And now that Mare is officially off the case (and we know that won’t stop her) he will really have to take the lead as far as the public and other cops will see. But, he’ll still be learning at her knee. In the end, he may still get the credit once this is solved (assuming it is.)

I feel like he does have some self-awareness he’s middling. His recounting of the investigation that made he locally famous seemed rushed and incomplete, as though he’s hiding some basic facts that would underline he probably lucked into the resolution or was coached along the way to it.

He played drunkeness very well.

This guy has always been a nutty fucker. I don’t miss seeing him at all.

I think it follows on the theme that the Govt would think to be sure he has a black ‘wingman’ just like Cap did, instead of having a black Cap!

I just read this about two months or so ago. I was SMILING ear to ear when they introduced Isaiah and I’m so hopeful they use him in this story. It’s weird how I feel like MCU fans NEED to know this character as though he was a real person.

I agree. Without Day in it, it becomes one of those unknown movies you stumble across while surfing Amazon Prime on a random Sunday afternoon.

I hated Pike’s character so much and wanted her to lose so intensely, I wondered if I was actually a misogynist! I can’t recall the last time I so hated a female character and wanted her to lose in every way possible. Pike was tremendous in the role (kind of like how much I HATED Samuel Jackson’s character in ‘D’Jango

Go for the Andra Day performance. Worth seeing.

She’s phenomenal, the movie, not so much.

I wanted to as well. But as the plots piled up and the coincidences and deus ex machinas kicked in, I gave up that this would have any relationship to the real world. So, really, I was watching for spectacle and scenery chewing. And, in that sense, I wasn’t let down! HAHA!

This is the first movie in WB’s new ‘stream-same-day’ regime where I don’t feel like this is a movie that wouldn’t have been released otherwise (and, yes, that includes ‘The Little Things’, which was really a poor film.)

They were okay for me, but never excellent. It was a good diversion early on, imo.

Though I finally gave up last season, I have to say there really has never been any other way to watch this shitty show.

Probably just me, but Myers and Carvey in the WW gear looked off putting...they are appropriately showing their age and the costumes accentuated that to an unfair degree. I’m not pining for another Wayne’s World bit in the least. (Nor am I pining for a fourth Austin Powers, Mike!)

This movie was a diversion. That’s the best, nicest description I can give it. It looks good and moves at a leisurely pace. But the last quarter was RIDICULOUS! And just plain bad. And Leto is a tick-fest of a performance. But, it was FREE!!

I think I’ll do this and the dementia drama ‘The Father’ as a double feature just to drive me to suicide right now. Love to see both of these films, but the timing couldn’t be worse!

My biggest problem is that she hasn’t ever run for ANY office, so why does she pick the top one in the state?? Go be a city councilperson, a state assemblyperson or even just a goddamn dog catcher for fucks sake!! We ALL have seen how bad it is for the citizens to put a political neophyte in charge of the entire
