Correct - Sacramento is Northern Central Valley...My Wife and I live in Chico and I do a lot of work in Sacramento; I have never heard anyone refer to Sacramento as Central Valley...Sack-a-tomato, maybe, but not Central Valley.

I respectfully disagree. Sacramento is Northern Central Valley...Cities like Fresno, Manteca, Merced, Modesto - Those are Central Valley.

I have always referred to it as Northern Central Valley - I live in Chico and for me Northern California starts with Sacramento...But if you ask my Wife, who was born and raised in Orange County, Northern California starts at the Grapevine.
