Snow tires do just fine in dry, cold weather because they are still pliable and grippy. All seasons are hard as hockey pucks when it gets really, really cold (Canada cold). When it is dry pavement, you don’t need maximum grip anyways because...it is dry and clear pavement. It is when it is slushy, snowy, icy pavement…
