I am shocked to hear that people liked The Others. I remember seeing it in theatres and 20 minutes in figuring out it was a period piece version of Goosebumps: The Ghost Next Door.

Wow, Pen15 was my favourite new comedy last year. Can’t wait for season 2.
Meh, our cops aren’t much better than yours. The “investigation” will no doubt conclude that the arresting officers did their best in a difficult situation. The worst we do to overly violent cops here is give them paid time off.
Any actual evidence she killed her husband? Or maybe eccentric millionaire, possibly suffering from Alzheimer’s, who flies planes illegally and likes to hang out with tigers seems like the MOST likely person to mysteriously disappear one day.
This looks epic, but I am also a sucker for investigative journalism stories with the Bugle staff. Also digging Parker’s “Uh, do I even work here?” given last I remember he was fired as Science Editor after his plagiarism scandal.
I really love Star Trek Beyond. I do wish we’d had more time with the villain, and it’s no Wrath of Khan, but I also think it’s better than First Contact. I am also a sucker for NX series ships.
I love that episode. The Terminator was accidentally sent too far back, and basically did as little interfering with the timeline as possible, boarding itself up into a building until its target appeared.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles had a great (read: fun) grasp of all this sending infinite Terminators and protectors…
Same here. I keep hoping it’ll get filled in on Marvel Unlimited soon, as they currently only have issues 14, and 24-39 on there. Sometimes I have a hard time deciphering why they chose the issues they chose to put up.
It makes sense if Peggy’s secret husband was Steve all along.
The latitude fans give Marvel has partially depended on nobody else understanding how to make shared universes and modern superhero films, but that is starting to change. Wonder Woman, Dead Pool, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, Aquaman and even Venom have shown the other studios can compete.
Uh, I don’t think anything in The Incredible Hulk has been retconned out of the MCU, aside from the Hulk being played by Mark Ruffalo instead of Ed Norton. William Hurt is still playing General Ross, after all.
If Brendan Kelly’s ego gets hungry he can always come fill up at my place.
Brendan Kelly not making the list is a crime.
Wouldn’t Spock being the first Vulcan in Starfleet no longer be canon anyways due to the existence of T’Pol? She takes the rank of commander at the end of Enterprise Season 3.
This could be a major spoiler, so if you don’t want to get spoiled STOP READING.
Tyler is played by Shazad Latif (born Shazad Iqbal), and Voq is played by Javid Iqbal whose IMDB page is completely empty save for Discovery.
Odyssey is about the only Switch game I’m mildly interested in, and I got burned on the WiiU, so I’m not keen to buy another Nintendo console until there’s a critical mass of games I want. I also don’t really dig 3D platformers. Mario 3D World was pretty cool because of the multiplayer, and this is sort of a step back…
Also, an open world game like BotW doesn’t force you to sit for hours on end to accomplish anything, you can sit down for 5 minutes and get things done.
Agreed. Fenced-in areas in open world games feel especially broken, and things like buildings I can’t enter for no reason totally break immersion. My character can go anywhere and do anything, but they can’t break this window.
Tomb Raider was way more enjoyable for me than any open world game. Rise of the Tomb Raider being XB1 exclusive originally was the reason I chose it over PS4.
But i find that many people feel (also true in real life) that free will is a burden they want to ‘’escape’’. They want guidance and let other people tell them what to do. For them “linear” games are ideal .
