I've seen a few current running theories that say so many movies are released in December that no one has time to watch them all. I wonder if this is part of a shift.

Tucci's relationship with his adopted son was great.

Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson playing charming con artists in 1920s New York. Boom: all the money.

I purchased Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Rogue One, and Arrival tonight. Movie marathon weekend for me!

Just started the book of Five Came Back. I'm hoping to read through it quickly so I can watch the Netflix doc. Mark Harris is a great writer.

I appreciate America Ferrera's loyalty to her TV dad.

Excited for weekly Superstore coverage! I was sad there was nowhere to talk about the fact that Amy's dad is Betty Suarez's dad.

Since we didn't have a review for that episode I have to say that my favorite Dina line was in Ladies' Lunch in response to Amy claiming Dina "kidnapped" her:

I didn't realize until tonight that I'm still mad about what Battlestar Galatica did to Chief Tyrol towards the end.

As we potentially move on with our lives, let us remember to live our lives around what is true:

The moment that did it for me with this show was the slow dance funky chicken a few episodes into the show. That's when I told all my friends that New Girl was a show to watch.

I need to see Winston's wedding and I want to know CeCe/Schmidt's baby's name.

If it ends now I will be sad but satisfied. Ultimately, I'm happy that the show got to go long enough for it to become good again. Had this occurred two years ago I would have felt ambivalent towards the show. Now, the thought of no new episodes is a bit heartbreaking and that's exactly what I want from a show.

I'm sad that no one has mentioned Raising Hope since that show was basically all about relationships (familial, work, romantic).

Agreed on Schmidt's cheating. That's the reason I stopped watching for a season.

It worked for Armageddon and it will work here too, damn it!

While I would like Tina stories to focus on something other than romance for a bit (personally I would have liked the second episode to just focus on Tina joining the debate team), I have enjoyed the exchanges between Tina and Linda.

Not surprising. Every review I've seen for it talk about how Reynolds has more of a cameo than a large roll and his job on the space station isn't really defined.

Nope. The tone of the show is the reason it's fun to watch and that tone was embodied by Mary, Sue, and Mel. I'd watch any show with just one of those three but I can't picture watching a show with just Paul Hollywood as the remaining element.

I'm with you. I thought this was an improvement over the pilot. The gun debate stuff was great and caused a couple laugh out loud moments for me.
