My favorite part of the episode is how it subverts the small issue (the private secretary) for the greater issue so quickly after spending much of the episode on the private drama.
Elizabeth's "No, I called you in to talk about making Michael Adeane private secretary…but what you've just told me is far more important"

I feel like there needs to be some respect shown to Tangled, too, for reviving the current Disney animation formula.

We jokes about the Secret Agent Man/Secret Asian Man thing for a long time in my family. Then, when we saw the last Pierce Brosnan Bond film where the North Korean (I think. It's been a long time and I'm not going to look up Die Another Day to fact check) was thought to have been killed but really he disguised himself

Remember when Peyton hooked up with Pete from Fall Out Boy and they only noticed it was odd when she met up with Jake again? What an odd show.

From what I've read they are doing what Cougar Town did: keep the name and make fun additions to the title card. Jane's showrunner said they would show the initial title card and then cross out "virgin" with relevant changes like "guilty Catholic"

What I find horrifying for that family is the mother's fear that their dead child is in hell specifically because their religion's tenants.

I like Cece admitting that cabinets are all the same, even if it means not being able to tell wood from metal.

My favorite part about Bryan Greenberg joining the show is that they gave his character a daughter that would be the same age as his One Tree Hill character's daughter. So, the young version of me who was sad when Jake left One Tree Hill can just pretend Ben is a continuation of that character.

Efron has some solid delivery in Hairspray. His "I can't believe Tracy would viciously bludgeon an Eagle Scout. That seems so unlike her." was my favorite line reading. That is an impressive accomplishment in a movie that features Christopher Walken.

I had to explain the Grey Poupon commercial to a younger co-worker a couple of days ago. It made me sad because I guess I'm that old now.

So wait, this movie is probably going to retcon the exhaust port in the Death Star as purposeful subterfuge made by a kidnapped engineer forced to build the weapon by the empire, isn't it?

The Irma Lhurman-Merman murder is no laughing matter.

I know I did

O Brother is interesting in its relationship to the songs. "Down by the River" is probably my favorite song in the whole soundtrack but I don't like the presentation in the film as much as I love Krauss' voice. However, I love the presentation of "O Death" because its needed Ralph Stanley's voice to make the

Yes to all of this. I was especially happy later in life (like, 4 years later) to see him pop up in Apollo 13.

This is accurate. I had a real "you can't go home again" moment rewatching this film as an adult. Then, I tried it once more and got into the early 90s cheesiness of the film. Not quite full-circle but at least not totally painful.

My mother flat-out refused to rent 3 Ninjas at one point. I didn't own a copy of the film until I got it as a birthday gift from a friend.

As a young girl who found Colt attractive I always pretended to be Colt…because childhood is odd sometimes.

As a very long term single person it didn't bother me because Schmidt's attitude was offset by the group's insistence on members staying single. If Jess just found friends who supported each other as singles that would have been different. Why would the group demand everyone stay single? That's as bad as couple
