Reading Ready Player One now and I can't actually tell who its written for. If its written for pop culture nerds then why is he describing plots to really popular stuff? If it's not written for pop culture nerds then why is the book basically a list of nerd references?

the combination of the horrifying "I will send a fully-armed battalion to remind you of my love" with the "la da-da dat Da" part is hilarious and Groff sells the hell out of it.

"Burn" was my early favorite song. Phillipa Soo's voice is amazing with the songs rises and falls.

Seconding "Wait For It" from Hamilton

I laughed at the Emperor doing "You'll Be Back" but I did a near spit take at Jar Jar being Peggy Schuyler. Well done, internet.

Not only that but it was a dead peacock feather…representing the cancelled show.

An Olympic medal gets him ice cream. He knows that.

I think the #1 problem with The Oscars is that someone always convinces that year's host that the show is different from other award shows, so the host always waters down their stuff. Then the event is boring because someone we recognize as funny is pulling his/her punches.

I remember he did a "man on the street" bit where he asked people what they thought of the nominated actors. DiCaprio was nominated and the guy Rock asked about DiCaprio called him "the guy from The Beach"

Joaquin Phoenix and Tommy Lee Jones.

I'd love Bill Murray to say yes and just not show up. Then, an hour into the broadcast, photos of him playing golf in Hawaii show up on twitter.

I think anyone who would be good at it doesn't want to do it because it's such a thankless chore. The whole thing is basically a little kid's tea party: fake fancy and taken way too seriously.

Just thinking about the "Alright, Emily, you may go first" scene still gets me.

I hope Lane and Mrs. Kim have slowly been buying out the town from under Taylor. She might not have moved far but she should run that mother

I don't know. Gilmore Girls isn't the same without Edward Herrmann's Richard Gilmore. I love the show, but let it rest.
I mean, I'm 97% I'll watch it when it shows up on Netflix but I don't know if this is needed.

Jonathan Slavin has my absolute favorite line from Better Off Ted. There's an episode where he has to give a deposition and he reveals that instead of attending an Ivy League university he attended the University of Aruba. Then he says "I enjoyed every minute of my time as a syphilitic conquistador…that was the

My money is on Thea. Her aggression is going to get out of control, she's going to take on Darhk personally, and die.

Neal McDonough has the absolute best line reading in Band of Brothers too. Two of his character's friends get shelled, he stumbles out of the foxhole and stutters on the word "Medic" before screaming it with everything he has. So glad to have him on the show.

A Serious Man is probably the only film that accurately shows the complexity of religious doubt. The quality of the rabbi's advise depends on the belief in God. To believe, to just accept the idea of God, makes the advise obvious. HIS presence is everywhere. However, if you're struggling and/or don't believe in God

"HA! I beat you. How you like me now, Sucka….um, I mean, I hope you found peace?"
