Side note: Shouldn't Brad Pitt be "Oscar Winner Brad Pitt" now? He was a producer on 12 Years A Slave. Do we not count it if they didn't get an acting award?

I miss Raising Hope. Martha Plimton and Garrett Dillahunt forever!
My favorite is in Happy Endings as well. It's when Penny complains that she hasn't said "A-mah-zing" at all that season and, when questioned on her use of the word "season", Penny replies that it's "more of a summer word."
My dad is continually of the opinion that RDJ and Morton Downey Jr. are related too.
The monkeys in Wizard of Oz have faces that are a metallic powder blue color and they don't emote with facial expressions. I thought they would have made the monkeys wear masks to make the rest of the fantasy world aesthetic.
It took me a dangerously long time to realize the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz were not regular monkeys wearing masks and wings and, instead, were little people in costume. This revelation came to me in my early 20s as I was trying to figure out how the crew got monkeys to even wear masks in the first place. I…
1. I don't think anyone has been happier to age into his middle-age face than Brad Pitt. Not for awards, but for being respected as an adult. For a guy who got his start and stardom playing The Hot Guy, you can tell he has zero interest in talking about his looks. I imagine the day he realized he had crows-feet on his…
I just watched a few of the Prometheus and Bob sketches on youtube and then made the mistake of reading the comments. Apparently, a large amount of the youtube viewing audience believes Prometheus and Bob are from Robot Chicken. This bothers me.
My favorite was the High Noon parody.
Goodfeathers was such an oddly specific reference to parody for a kids show. I was aware of Goodfellas back then (I've always had an odd thing for mob movies) but it was still odd.
"Terrifying, but still fascinating" is my happy place. It's where I go to escape it all.
Man, there is no character from childhood I felt worse for than Buttons. That dog tried so hard and got no appreciation.
I remember reading an article about how Clive Owen's character represented a new kind of action hero because he refused to use a gun. Even when you are begging him to kill Sid ("Sid doesn't know. Sid doesn't WANT to know.") he does just enough to get Key away from danger. I don't think he ended up as the archetype…
To be fair, Daniel Radcliffe is just eloquent as hell. I'm way more of a fan of him as a person than I am of his acting.
The awards show prediction website I have gone on in the past called this phenomena "slap the stud" - The idea that a young handsome guy has to basically age out of his youthful appearance or his (ugh) heart-throb persona before he is taken seriously.
I think Gosling is great as intelligent characters. "The Believer", "Crazy, Stupid, Love", and "Lars and the Real Girl" were all smart characters. I am completely uninterested in him playing silent, brooding, and physically intimidating characters. That's just me, though.
I liked that one quite a bit as well.
True, but that's probably why I loved it as a kid. The Chicken Boo skits and the "Prometheus and Bob" skits in Kablaam were always repetitive but always my favorite parts. They are both kind of impossible to explain to people who haven't seen the shows.
Now someone do a super-cut of all the Chicken Boo parts from Animanics!
Yeah, my favorite episode is the one where they build a paper mache world, get everyone to go to "New Earth", leaving Brain in charge of the world. He is just bored the whole time.
