so every time you have sex that doesn’t result in a baby what happens?

Not to mention certain clergy are strictly prohibited from procreating. It’s all picking and choosing.

The notion that we all owe the world the act of procreation (and that anything else is “selfish”) makes my skin crawl.

“since they cannot personally procreate it’s a selfish act.” - Vasman21

Tolerating queer folks as if they are screaming children on an airplane is what I gather you do. Like we are there and you just have to deal with us. We should just accept the fact there are queer people and we love just like everyone else. Whether or not we “agree”. There is a difference between acceptance and

Being homosexual is not a “lifestyle.” A lifestyle is what you decide to do with the means at your disposal. Some peoples lifestyle is vacationing 6 times a year and filling their time with pleasure while other people work harder; mostly out of necessity and are very frugal. LGBT people come in as many religious,

I suppose I don’t really understand why you felt the need to write and post THIS comment on THIS article. It seems unnecessary and kind of out of place.

And, views like this are why I’m glad I left the church. The argument of “can’t procreate” loses all validity the second it’s pointed out the religious right has no issues with heteroromantic couples who are sterile marrying. I don’t respect your opinion, but I respect your right to have one and voice it. However,

Remember this reaction the next time you see an article about a fictional heterosexual relationship.

There’s so much wrong here it’s difficult to know where to start.

Ugh, you’re like almost perfectly decent, and I appreciate you expressing honest tolerance, but ugh. As a gay man, knowing this about you, I would never want to know you or help you or treat you the way I treat my loving friends.

At the very least, you’re starving enough for internet attention that you’re racing to be the first to demonstrate outrage at others’ willingness to make molestation jokes.

+1 Churches! Churches!

I dunno, seems pretty rude of her to step on Lennay Kekua while she’s down.

Honestly, this is even better.

I’m willing to bet that she weighs the same as a duck

No, because research studies are not YouTube videos.

I do not disagree that there should be a way for people to get these issues treated without bankrupting the patient. What I disagree with is the “price” of this kind of treatment being public disclosure of a medical condition. And yes, I know their names aren’t on the videos, but it’s still their bodies.

The clinical studies you mention are strictly overseen by Ethics Committees, require very specific consent documents, and only provide small reimbursement amounts to cover patient expenses (ie $20 per visit for parking/transit, etc).
