I used to think that, but even after BvS came out to making less than $ 1bil, they still used the exact same shitty approach for this one. I have no faith in the people running these movies at all. That movie had 3 of the most popular superheroes of all time, it should still be in theaters making money.

It’s a failure because it could have made twice as much as it did if it was even halfway decent. 3 of the most iconic & popular superheroes on screen at the same time and they didn’t even crack 1 bil.

Having them turn out to be the Justice Lords would be the greatest damn thing they could ever do, which sadly is why it’ll never happen.

Not caring helps

Its good to see them using the model Fox did for Wolverine Origins. Make a movie with existing characters that people will come to see, don’t give two shits about the script cause they’ll still see it, & use the cheapest CGI shitfest they can find cause people will still see it.

Wow that was just a garbage episode. I think the acting in the flashback was pretty cringe worthy. Just...why does this episode exist? Please never again.

I’m really liking the villain right now, he seems like an actual threat. His first move right out of the gate is to murder kids. And yeah I was getting some PTSD from those lock her up chants.

That kind of had me wondering if Joyce knew Hopper had El, and maybe even visited.

It kind of reflects how Lucas was with Eleven in season 1 before the last couple episodes.

Apparently Astin wanted to have a violent hero death like Quint in Jaws. They even shot a scene of him spewing blood out of his mouth while he was getting eaten.

I never got the impression that Bob might be a bad guy. I just assumed he would be “the nice guy” who couldn’t handle it when shit started going down & would abandon them. I’m very glad both assumptions were wrong. And that ending was so bad ass.

It was an utterly pointless episode that stopped all the momentum the season had going.
