Toy Story 4 is happening. Out Summer 2017 and directed by John Lasseter. This seems…very unnecessary? The series ended perfectly as is.

I'm irrationally excited about this. These books were second only to Harry Potter when I was a kid. The movie was charming enough, but I'd love to see another take on it.

There are movies I've liked more, but The Lego Movie and 22 Jump Street were definitely the most fun experiences I've had in a theatre this year. I also rewatched Clone High alongside the TV Club reviews, and it holds up. Lord and Miller know how to make me happy.

The first episode was the best pilot I've watched this season. I haven't gotten around to watching any more yet, but I'm really looking forward to catching up.

Eh. I know nothing about Doctor Strange, but I feel like this a pretty uninspired choice.

It's strange (ha) that you say that. Casting Cumberbatch is rather uninspired, but otherwise Marvel is taking more risks than ever. It's the reason this movie is even being made in the first place.

Absolutely. You can basically think of everything that happens in Season 4 as a really shitty epilogue.

Hopefully the writers can pull themselves together to make a decent farewell season, but if not, the Season 3 finale is a fantastic place to pretend the show ended. Season 4 has been pretty bad thus far, so I won't hold my breath.

Twin Peaks is coming back.
