Yeah, there was no way Bennett was keeping the team here in Seattle. See the great movie “SonicsGate” for more.

Everyone talking about Xmas music have clearly never heard the classic “James Brown Funky Christmas”. And for a newer soul/funk Xmas album, check out “Its a Holiday Soul Party”, by the late great Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings.

I have a combo apple corer/slicer/avocado cutter/depitter/slicer. Its called a chef’s knife.

My GF can fall asleep within 15 seconds of turning out the lights. Never fails to amaze me.

I’ve stopped watching football this season, for a lot of reasons, but I generally tell people that I don’t want to be watching when someone dies on the field. I really do think its inevitable at this point.

As a resident, I can say that the NBA is poison in the community after the way that Clay Bennett/David Stern/Howard Schulz screwed over the fans here. The NHL will probably be strongly supported as a “screw you” move by a lot of people here.

Is it liberal BS to say that Boone was ‘roided to the gills during the 2001 season? (.331 BA, 37 HR’s, 141 RBI’s)

Yeah, but French butter is about a million times better then your american Land O’ Lakes.

On a whim one time I made homemade cinnamon rolls (from scratch!) as the treat for my daughter’s soccer when then had an 8am game. The other parents wanted to kill me for setting the bar too high.

Forgot to mention the best part...its a day off in Melbourne. I was glad that one of my co-workers gave me a heads up, otherwise I would have shown up to an empty office.

Stupid drunken cougars...

Trump knows the words to The National Anthem....but its the Radiohead song.

Not a chance. It was well known here in Seattle that when Nintendo owned the Mariner’s, the owner (Hiroshi Yamauchi) had so little interest in the team that he never went to a game. Not once.

Pike Place Market is not “touristy”! Yes, all the tourists go there, but its awesome.

I’m surprised he can play so well, considering those debilitating bone spurs in his heel (which one? He can’t remember!) that kept him out of Vietnam.
