The only aircraft that competes with first place for my all-time favorite aircraft. The SR-71 is my favorite, but this one runs a very close second.

Looks like it was designed and built in the vein of the Meyers Manx, something designed to head to the beach and drive on it on a nice, summer day.

I’ve had keen interest in this motorcycle since I first read about it here on Lanesplitter. I’m curious to see how it stacks up against the S1000R and the 1199 Panigale, it looks like it has the teeth to bite into their territory.

This one. On the two I’ve owned, the shaker hood scoop lived up to the name.

Okay, now that *does* sound like fun. I had no idea they were that light. Another advantage of the K-platform minivan - turbo 2.5L is an option.

Absolutely not! The brakes were an afterthought. Almost as though the engineers raided the parts bin for the Dodge Neon when they designed the brakes. It would stop, but it was like trying to stop an ocean liner. Apply brakes, and wait. And wait. And wait.

The 2013 I was driving, the suspension seemed fairly taught, and 283 hp out of the 3.6L made it a competent performer. It really surprised me with how well it handled and accelerated. It was no Challenger or Charger, but driving it was actually interesting.

The 2013 I was driving certainly handled and accelerated better than the 2003 I drove.

Maybe I did. I know it was capable of pushing into triple digit speeds no sweat.

Congrats, McMike!

Odd, the ‘03 and ‘04 Mach 1s I had didn’t have that problem. Wallowing front end on the ‘04, but the ‘03 had decent suspension tuning and handled like it was being guided by the Hand of God through the turns. Of all things on those Mach 1s, the rear end was not anything that felt like it would just wash out.

The sabers...they are clattering. Loudly.

This machine looks like something that would firmly plant your eyeballs into the back of your skull...very quickly.

What a bunch of dicks. Now the regulations will become much stiffer, making it much harder to have fun. It’ll make the fun environment a more flacid place to be. I suppose they’ve got to be firm with the rules, though.

If the BBC retaliates, they’ll get lapped....by The Stig.

A real life horror story on Halloween. Yikes.

Most reliable?

I don’t see a single vehicle on here that would not induce a grin.

Some might think it’s a great deal. Others might think it’s...a collectible. All I can think is....that price is pipe!

Now playing

Great movie, summed up with a fantastic writeup!
