Congrats! Well played!

The WRX...born from tractors? Maybe not, but it’s interesting to see how some of the more revolutionary designs for automobiles can trace their roots to agriculture.

I chalk it up to the same instances where people have driven blindly into emergency vehicles that had the lights *and* sirens going - zoned out and being on autopilot. I honestly feel safer on the motorcycle than I do driving a vehicle some days - I may not get noticed, but I can be maneuverable.

I think I better understand where you’re coming from. And I agree with you on all points - each time I look at events that arise in Syria, I see the chilling parallels to what happened in North and South Vietnam and keep hoping that conflict will be avoided.

Does it come with those awesome protective sneakers?

I would love to be in Cali, but I am stuck here on the east coast as you said. I still have high hopes that I’ll be able to head west once again...

Thank you for the tip! I’ll definitely try that out sometime.

Maybe not the Crocs part, but the scooter part sounds like a few of the stores near me.

Yeah, I know that pain! Sometimes it’s quicker to go with the slip-ons rather than spend 30 minutes trying to convince them to wear normal shoes.

Quite true. Less likely to trip you up. I thought they had all disappeared, I am mistaken.

Perfect for those times when you’re on the run to the dark side of the moon. If the police see you, you might have to run like hell to avoid them, but it may just be best to pull over, and pay up the money to avoid the dogs of war. One slip behind the wheel might leave you learning to fly just before you hit the wall;

GREAT write up, and all good pointers. I generally make similar recommendations for new riders, and this article can provide good reinforcement for that advice.

I understand all too well how wars are precipitated. We’re on the brink of an uncontrollable escalation of force in Syria because of what’s going on.

1.) You’re right. I do find killing abhorrent. I can see the necessity for it, I can justify it, but that does not necessarily mean that I agree with the taking of another’s life.

Ah, but does it come with Homer’s pesky radioactive bar that he chucks out the window?

It would be the BSOD, then a crash into the tree.

First, travel to Mars is being hyped up. Second, autonomous vehicles are gaining traction in the automotive industry.

Agreed. I never saw anything wrong with flip flops, especially now that they’re made to be robust.

LMAO!

The M1010 CUCV. It has a 6.2L diesel that will run damn near forever, put the right tires on it and it won’t get easily stuck (within reason) and the ambulance section has room for a cot, with plenty of storage for clothes if need be. Won’t get anywhere quick, but it’ll get you there through the rough stuff.
