I chalk it up to the same instances where people have driven blindly into emergency vehicles that had the lights *and* sirens going - zoned out and being on autopilot. I honestly feel safer on the motorcycle than I do driving a vehicle some days - I may not get noticed, but I can be maneuverable.

The M1010 CUCV. It has a 6.2L diesel that will run damn near forever, put the right tires on it and it won’t get easily stuck (within reason) and the ambulance section has room for a cot, with plenty of storage for clothes if need be. Won’t get anywhere quick, but it’ll get you there through the rough stuff.

I wanted to vote NP. It’s in nice shape, the paint is nearly flawless, the interior is mint...but...no. I can’t do it. I’m sure it will find an owner that will cherish it, treasure it, put a lift kit on it and bolt up a set of 28” rims. I’m not that owner.
