Kinda shaky on this one. I said NP for the fact that it has a stack of service records and the transmission work has been done; I’d have to thumb through the records and drive the car. I’d probably give in, simply because an M5 of this vintage is closer to $20K than $10K.
Some truly fantastic photography and machines in here, thank you for sharing these fellow Jalops!
Maybe Benz isn’t spreading their wings Right now, but they’ve helped aviators spread theirs as far back as 1913.
Truly tragic and saddening, but as so many have thought and said, he was in the midst of that which he was passionate about. Godspeed, Mr. Gonyo, may you drive victory laps on the track in the sky.
Understandably, this was the heat of the moment, filled with frustration and aggravation. Verstappen was caught up in the heat of the race, fatigued, and worn down with exhaustion.
Amazing the level of safety in place when potentially catastrophic failures happen. Glad to here Brown’s okay after that incident.

I don’t compare the Panamera to the Challenger Helical, I compare it to the Charger Hellcat. The Charger Hellcat is a fluke of engineering, one which tops out in excess of 200 mph. I can’t say the same for the Panamera.
True, true. By the way, and as I imagine you well know, Magnas are awesome bikes. I had the pleasure of owning one, it’s one of two bikes I regret parting with.
Not to be cliché, but I feel this is one of those roads paved with good intentions. This feels like what led the U.S. into Vietnam.
When I look at a car like a Mondial, I also look at other sports cars of that era, and for me, I also think about other ‘80s mid-rear cars I tend to look at are the MR2, the Esprit, the DeLorean, and the Fiero.
I think with the way Tesla has shaken up the automotive industry, the big players have taken notice, and are shifting their engineering focus. The newly-developed concept sedan Porsche penned up is an example, and I think we’ll be seeing more, not less, efforts from other automakers.
