I once held out for like 2 weeks over $500. They are always screwing people. Then they go and sponsor the local MLB park. Seriously. American Family Insurance in Wisconsin is probably some of the most expensive insurance and apparently they like screwing early 20s kids out of $500 on a $3000 bill. They should just be

Man, is the Chinese gov’t thin-skinned. Thank God we’ve never had anyone leading our gov’t that couldn’t take a joke.

I mean...who else would it be for? I can’t think of what a reunion special could do to appeal to fence-sitters or new potential fans.

“We never found records of a Jack Dawson”

I’ve bought and sold on BAT and also driven several models that show up from time to time. I agree some have quality traits. A foxbody is still goofy fun, but the value proposition gets lost as prices increase. I found the E46 M3 to be wildly overrated. It has a decent engine note....I smh at the Lexus LS models—the

Every BMW is overpriced, as is every pickup. There are people, in the year of our Lord 2021, spending a hair under $60,000 to get cloth seats in a F-150. You know how many people don’t even make $60k in an entire year? About half the country.

America’s slow twilight continues.

I have Rebel on the DVR. I still haven’t touched it. I really like Katy Sagal, so I had some intentions. Something about it seemed too earnest for my taste. I didn’t realize that was the cast, though. Maybe I’ll watch some of it—just to torture myself over the cancellation.

Robert Downey Jr. so desperately needs a role in an adult movie that would benefit from his razor-sharp wit & delivery, and this would be a perfect vehicle for him.

I like Yacht Rock but my heart belongs to 70's AM Gold so I can also hear crap like “Lonely Boy” by Andrew Gold and “It’s Magic” by Pilot. To say nothing of all those songs by the Grass Roots

Yeah, Ric must have really worked some mojo.

You may be looking for their 60's folk revival Weez On Weez

Don’t forget that Rick Ocasek of the Cars was involved in that first album.

Since Raditude (and probably before then) I think that they’ve had some shit producers.

Oh yeah, I didn’t mean to include Pinkerton in my diss. First album = classic; Pinkerton = avoids sophomore slump, points in new and interesting direction that was never realized.

Weezer will forever be awesome because they named one of their albums “Death to False Metal”.

Saw them pre-Covid, and was supposed to see them last year for that matter. Hope to catch them this fall.

I’m here for the Little River Band talk.

I also hear huge similarities between Sandinista and Combat Rock with the best of the Little River Band. Power Pop.

Just like how the Little River Band and The Clash have people who play guitar in it.

My plan is to make my next new car a 1991 Toyota Cressida
