From what I’ve seen of Snyder’s filmography, “shame” does not play a big role in his creative process. Nor does “restraint”, “logic” or “recognisable human emotion”.

Particularly his rape fetish film.

Please, no more Sucker Punch. It might be the most misogynistic studio movie ever made. A directors cut, especially after seeing the alt ending, could only make it worse. Somehow, Synder still doesn’t see this, or has taken it on board, and wants to revive that swill? Just stop giving this guy creative control over…

Imagine the passage of time making you want to revisit this film rather than claim to have no memory of creating it during a drug binge or whatever.

I fell asleep during Sucker Punch and lied to my friend that I enjoyed it because I didn’t want to hurt his feelings because he really loved it. 

To me, the show started going downhill when they began focusing every episode around Ciri. I just don’t find her character or storyline to be very interesting. I enjoyed the first season because it focused on world building and character development. The lore is more interesting than the plot, basically.

If anyone knows their tactics, it’s Leah. She has no fucks to give anymore. I hope she goes scorched earth on these motherfuckers.

The writing was never great. The show was almost great in spite of the bad writing, and in spite of the very confusing (for those unfamiliar with the lore) first season time-jumps. That a show could be promising despite major flaws in plot direction and writing demonstrates that there was definitely some magic there,…

Yeah as someone who read the manga. I was quite disappointed with the overall movie.

When I first saw the trailer for the 2019 film, I said to my friend I was with at the time that I hoped that every time the movie cut to the title character, her eyes would be slightly larger and larger so by the end, it would just be two enormous eyes.

For me, it felt like a fan edit that merged some hypothetical  Alita trilogy that kept the fights at the expense of scene setting, relationship building, and the better third of a love triangle.

The only things I remember about the first one were the Edward Norton reveal at the end, and the unnecessary giant eyes

I didn’t like the movie mainly because of the ending and how video gamey it felt.
